Welcome to the Tinnes family blog. My new year resolution is to keep in touch with all of our friends and family. Hopefully this will get everyone up to date. I am going to try to update our blog every couple of months.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays

WOW!! Where has the year gone? I remember the beginning, the middle is a little foggy, and the end is here. Can I say WOW again? HA, HA.

Michael is still with Pentax medical. He is enjoying the job, depending on the month. His territory is Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana. He still is traveling about 3 weeks out of the month. It’s been hard on the kids, but they are adjusting as well as can be. We are grateful that Michael is still out there getting a lot of the hospitals business. We were a little worried because of the economy, but we have been blessed every month. The kids and I are counting the days when Michael takes his vacation. The last two weeks of the year are ours.

Ian is growing and growing and growing. He is in 2nd grade and has Miss Clark. She is very young and seems to have a great connection with the kids. I guess you would have to be. This year Ian had to get glasses. He is quiet blind. He is very handsome in them. This was Ian’s 2nd year playing baseball. He was on the machine pitch league. He is very good. We hope he continues with it. Ian also enjoys playing out side with his friends and riding his scooter, but his favorite thing to do is play the Wii.

Ireland is simply amazing. She excels in all she does. She is in Kindergarten. Her teacher is Mrs. Adams. She is this cute little lady. She has long gray hair and always wears it in a pony with crazy mismatch bows, and she likes to wear bright lime green shoes with just about any color. Ireland loves her. Ireland love to read, color and make crafts with mom. She also played baseball this year on the T-ball league. She spent most of her time chasing butterflies, picking up dandelions and sitting on the grass. She wants to take dance classes instead. She is a princess though and though.

Aiden is in to everything. He turned 4 in November and he keeps up with the big boys. Some days he runs the big boys. He is strong willed and stubborn. I say his is a lot like his dad and his dad says he is a lot like me. He does have my good looks. Aiden like cars, Batman, building things, tearing them down, riding his scooter, playing outside, and picking on his brother and sister. What 4 year old doesn’t? All in all he is a good boy and is always happy and smiling. Aiden enjoys helping me with crafts, cooking and baking. He is a well-rounded kid.

As for me, well this year has been a little challenging. In February I lost my grandfather, which hit our families hard. In April I had major surgery that took me out for most of the summer. I am sad to say that I am still trying to get my body back up to par. I take one day at a time and thank my Heavenly Father for the health that I have. He continues to bless me everyday. The kids keep me real busy. Ian and Ireland have homework and reading everyday. On top of taking care of the kids and their needs I am involved in PTA at the kids school and I am Ireland’s class party coordinator. It has been fun, challenging, and rewarding.

We hope our little newsletter has found you all well. We wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
